History and culture, therefore also art. As part of the "Wine&Life" wine fair, the National Art Gallery of Sassari offers a walk through the centuries on Saturday to discover the various variations of the works on the theme. Free guided tours starting from 4pm with tastings to savor, with a different taste, the paintings and works of the greatest Sardinian artists and beyond.

The event “Walking among the works of art to talk about grapes and wine” is organized by the Art Gallery in collaboration with the Municipality of Sassari and the Mediterranean Wine Show.

From the Madonna of the Grapes by Mabuse (early 16th century), to the straw flasks of 17th century still lifes; from the country festivals of Giovanni Marghinotti (19th century) to the prints and paintings of great Sardinian artists of the 20th century such as Giuseppe Biasi, Filippo Figari, Mario Delitala, Stanis Dessy and Ausonio Tanda.

The visit will be followed by a wine tasting accompanied and guided by the sommeliers of the AIS (Italian Sommelier Association).
