A series of aggressive and violent behaviors toward the mother and family members , culminating in damage to their home, posing a real risk of a serious fire. These are the reasons that led to the arrest yesterday evening in Gonnosfanadiga of a 26-year-old unemployed man already known to law enforcement.

Only the day before, the same young man had already been the target of a Carabinieri intervention, resulting in his arrest for assaulting family members and resisting arrest. On that occasion, following the summary trial, the 26-year-old was released with the obligation to report to the Judicial Police.

According to the military's reconstruction, once released, the young man returned to his mother's home, damaging the property and making serious death threats. Furthermore, he also threatened his brother, threatening to set fire to the house and his car, even dousing it with a gasoline can.

The Carabinieri were immediately called for help, and they quickly responded, intercepting the 26-year-old in the town center. After a brief escape attempt, the young man was stopped and immobilized while armed with an iron baton. During the operation, the canister containing the fuel and two lighters were also seized.

After reconstructing the entire incident, the 26-year-old was arrested and, after completing the usual formalities, taken to prison in Uta, where he was held by the judicial authorities pending a validation hearing.
