Giusy Ferreri is a sure thing. But two other artists will take the stage at New Year's Eve 2026 in Cagliari, who, according to the event organizers, will satisfy the entertainment needs of various generations.
One was the winner of a recent edition of X Factor: this is the only indiscretion that has leaked out, even if all the clues point to Mimì Caruso, queen of 2024.
These names will only be made official when the envelope containing the offer submitted by F Group Srl is opened at the City Hall's Culture Department offices. F Group Srl is the only company remaining among those that submitted a proposal as part of the process initiated by the City Council for organizing the New Year's Eve events.
Until this morning, there were two other competitors: "Form and Poetry in Jazz" and "Vox Day." However, formal irregularities were discovered in the submitted documentation and they were excluded.
Therefore, only Simone Ruscica's F Group, the same company that organized Marco Mengoni's New Year's Eve concert at the Fiera in Cagliari, is in the running for New Year's Eve 2024. Whether there will be a definitive award will be known in the next few hours, when further details on the concert in the square requested by the Municipality of Cagliari will be available.
