Tragedy at a home in Ghilarza. An explosion occurred this morning, apparently originating from a gas stove, and the death toll stands at two.
The victims are Luciano Pinna, 80, and his wife Antonia , who would have turned 73 today. According to the reconstruction, the man was caught in the flames and burned to death.
The tragedy occurred on Via XVI Marzo, near the nursery school and the sports field. Adriano, the son, raised the alarm when he arrived on the scene.
Carabinieri, firefighters and 118 were on site. When the emergency services arrived, it seemed that the man was already dead, while the helicopter arrived for his wife but there was nothing that could be done.
