Approximately seventy pages: the reasons for the gang rape sentence issued in September against Ciro Grillo (son of Beppe, founder of the 5 Star Movement), Vittorio Lauria and Edoardo Capitta (eight years) and Francesco Corsiglia (six years and six months) have been filed in the registry of the Tempio Tribunal .

The plaintiffs' lawyers and those of the defendants will be able to examine the documents in the ruling in the next few hours. Only then will they be able to understand how the judges interpreted the findings of the long and complex trial into the events dating back to July 17, 2019, at the Grillo family's vacation home on the Costa Smeralda, when the four men were allegedly responsible for the rape of a then-19-year-old Italian-Norwegian student.

The reasons will explain why they were all held responsible for an act during which only Corsiglia was present, how the victim's physical and psychological state was interpreted during the commission of the crime , and also on the basis of what evidence it was believed that physical contact took place between the defendants and another girl, who claimed to have been raped: evidence of the rape would be photographs and a sexually explicit video that the three boys filmed while she was sleeping on the sofa.
