In an official note, the Municipality wrote: «Born from the cooperation between the public administrations, thanks to the reuse of the tourism portal of the Municipality of Florence». So the "reuse" is declared. Except that reading certain contents of the new tourism portal launched by the Municipality of Cagliari , it seems more that it has been copied, without paying too much attention to the point. Or rather: not to mention that there are differences, not insignificant, between the Tuscan capital and the Sardinian one.

This happens in particular for the "Enjoy respect" section, which contains the rules of civil coexistence. On the Cagliari website we read that «it is forbidden to climb the monuments, enter the fountains, access the pine cones of the bridges». The first are here too, the second are rare (who has ever entered the fountain in Piazza Repubblica?), the third, the "bridge pine cones", are elements that form part of the architecture of the historic structures that allow you to pass on the Arno. There are none in Terramaini.

On the site of the administration of Palazzo Bacaredda we also read that “Cagliari is not a bathing establishment. Your clothing must be decent, throughout the city”: who knows how the indication will be taken, good for Santa Maria Novella, a little less between Poetto, Calamosca and neighboring areas. Two elements sufficient to push the most curious to do a search on Google: the entire section is copied and pasted. Even in the passages that have nothing to do with Cagliari.

Including asterisks. Which on the Florence site refer to the urban police regulation, not mentioned in the Sardinian capital. Where all references to good practices are also omitted, detailed in Tuscany, to limit oneself to the prohibitions.

«This center-right administration has never stood out for its good communication skills and has always preferred to ban and impose rather than talking to citizens», attacks the municipal councilor of Possibile, Francesca Mulas, «what is happening today with the EnjoyRespect campaign but it goes further, it's incredible and surreal: prohibitions and impositions totally copied from another city, without even the effort to adapt them to Cagliari".

I cannot believe, continues the exponent of the opposition, "that a work for tourism, promoted as a great tool for showcasing the city and its beauties, has been done with so much sloppiness: it is possible that no one has reread the text before publishing it on the institutional website by copying the same prohibitions of Florence, including the prohibition of 'accessing the pine cones of the bridges' or 'entering the fountains'?» he wonders.

And again: « Is it possible», Mulas insists, «that the mayor and his junta presented everything at the press conference without asking themselves if those words made sense in Cagliari? The list of embarrassing bans is long: it's forbidden to be drunk on the street, it's forbidden to use indecent clothing, it's forbidden to be a cause for fear. It is yet another proof, if we still needed it», is the conclusion, «of the disinterest of the center-right towards its own city. And also towards tourists: we present them with a nasty list of wrong behaviors instead of welcoming them with a welcome message ».
