Community celebrating today in the small town of Planargia for the 100th birthday of Mrs. Battistina Porcu , who reached the century of life surrounded by the affection of her family, fellow villagers and municipal administrators. A housewife, widow of Angelo Fadda, she is the mother of two children Rita and Ignazio , but can also count on eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren .

The centenarian first attended the thanksgiving mass at the church of Santa Maria della Neve, after which refreshments at the social aggregation center followed. The mayor Giovanni Antonio Zucca and the councilor for social services Vittoria Fadda gave aunt Battistina a floral tribute and a plaque.
