Flames at the gates of Buddusò: two helicopters and the Forestry's "Super Puma" in flight

Another Sunday of super work for Sardinia's firefighting teams.

Eleven fires broke out in just a few hours in as many locations on the island and in two cases the intervention of aerial vehicles was necessary.

This was announced in the bulletin issued by the Forestry Corps.

The most challenging fronts were those of Sa Banziga, in the Buddusò area, where two helicopters and also the SuperPuma intervened; and that of Abbasanta: also in this case the SuperPuma came into action, to provide support to the teams on the ground engaged in putting out the flames that broke out in the Argiola Lepres area.
