Fire in Sassari, fear in via Regoli

Fear in via Regoli in Sassari . For reasons yet to be ascertained, around 11 this morning, flames broke out from an apartment along the road, a short distance from the Teatro Comunale.
Luckily at that moment no one was inside the house apart from the residents' animals. The two dogs present were saved in time, as would the parrots, but nothing to do for a cat that was in the house and died due to the fumes.
The municipal police and the firefighters immediately intervened on the spot and extinguished the fire before it spread. The smoke that was released from the house was very intense, caused by a fire which, according to initial information, would have affected the kitchen in particular.
