Fire in Muravera, flames near homes: one person evacuated

Fear in Muravera. A fire is threatening several homes in the Stagno delle Saline area. One vulnerable person has been evacuated . The flames have attacked agricultural areas bordering a scrub forest.
The Forestry Corps is responding with the support of two helicopters : a light helicopter from the Villasalto operations base, and a twin-engine AS332 Super Puma helicopter from Fenosu. A Canadair has been requested. The DOS (Firefighting Operations Director) of the Muravera Forestry Station is coordinating the firefighting operations on site. Ground teams are also involved: the GUAF unit from Cagliari, the Forestas Agency from Villaputzu-Muravera, volunteers from Sinnai, and the San Vito firefighters.
