A large fire broke out in the late morning on the outskirts of Guspini, on State Road 197, a short distance from Lidl.

The flames fueled by the brushwood also apparently involved a tool shed: from here a thick column of black smoke.

The road has been closed to traffic, which is regulated by the local police.

On the fire front, after an initial intervention, the firefighters are at work.
