No head trauma, no injury to the body .

The autopsy on the body of Gianmarco Murgia , the 64-year-old square man who died last Saturday with his daughter Valentina during a tragic trip to the sea, revealed that the man died from drowning .

The signs on the face that at first had suggested a head injury would be nothing more than the result of the long contact with the rocks and the sand where the body was stranded, until the day of the discovery. Obviously, the outcome of the histological examinations carried out by Professor Roberto Demontis and his team remains to be awaited.

The investigators therefore remain, for now, oriented on the hypothesis of the accident on the high seas : father and daughter could have fallen into the water after the violent impact with a shoal (or with a log or other) and the boat would have sunk.

Hypothesis that only the discovery of the boat will of course be able to corroborate. As soon as the bodies can return to Giba, the date of the funeral will be set.
