Mohamed Abdou Elchodary, a 20-year-old Egyptian man, is in the Tempio Pausania courthouse to answer questions from investigating judge Federica Distefano. He is accused of inflicting two fatal stab wounds on Apulian street artist Pietro Sciusco .

The incident occurred in the early afternoon of October 27th on Corso Umberto, in the city center of Olbia. The Egyptian man is being represented by lawyers Aurora Masu and Giuseppe De Meo, who declined to comment upon arrival in court.

Elchodary's position is extremely serious: a series of frames from a video acquired by prosecutor Noemi Mancini document the moment the young man strikes, aiming directly at the victim's heart . There is also a key witness who apparently heard the argument between the Egyptian boy and Sciusco. This testimony could prove crucial to the investigation.

Mohamed Abdou Elchodary continues to maintain that he has never seen the victim and that he first met her last Tuesday afternoon, a few minutes before the crime. Operations are underway to search for the cutting weapon used to kill the Barletta street artist .

The Tempio Pausania prosecutor's office has denied reports of Elchodary's involvement in the February 10, 2026, incident in Olbia. The young Egyptian is not responsible for injuring two people with scissors and killing a dog.
