Sound experts and consultants confronted in the Court of Assizes in Cagliari in the trial that sees the accused Fabio Fois , 57 years old from Girasole, accused of the murder of Fabio Longoni and the wounding of Daniele Conigiu, both breeders of Villagrande Strisaili, in Ogliastra, reached by some shot on November 22, 2017 in the countryside of the country.

This morning, during a quick hearing, the Court presided over by Judge Giovanni Massidda, with his colleague Stefania Selis on the side, summoned the brother of the farmer who was injured: the witness revealed that he knew little or nothing about the affair, not having never wanted to talk about it in depth with the relative. The hearing then continued with the listening of some passages of an environmental interception. The experts translated sentences into Ogliastra close to an alleged alternative path to that of the prosecution.

Speaking are a former employee of the funeral home owned by Conigiu's sister, later fired, and a marble worker from Ilbono.

Fabio Fois, assisted by the lawyer Marcello Caddori, now under house arrest and present in the courtroom next to his defender, was indicated by the survivor as the perpetrator of the crime: he would have recognized him from the walk, despite his face being covered.

After months of investigations, coordinated by the prosecutor of Lanusei Biagio Mazzeo, the accused had been arrested three years after the facts: according to the reconstruction of the accusation he wanted to avenge the theft, considered a real affront, of two donkeys owned by him. blaming Longoni and Conigiu.

The trial will continue on April 27: the trial will be closed and the indictment of the public prosecutor will begin.
