Leaping manhole covers and cars that end up in them, torn asphalt, an injured young man traveling on a scooter and flooding almost everywhere.

The violent storm that hit Cagliari around 2 pm did not pass without damage.

In viale Ciusa the pipes could not withstand the flow of water that ended up in the drains: in front of the entrance to the Arpas offices , the asphalt was ripped open in several places, for about 20 metres. The area was cordoned off by the workers of the company responsible for ordinary maintenance by the Municipality, but the intervention of the Abbanoa teams is awaited.

In Viale Merello, however , a car ended up in a manhole cover uncovered by the pressure. The man driving didn't notice the unexpected hole because he had a bus in front of him. And for this, fortunately, it went very slowly. Before his, other cars with the bigger tires didn't run aground but sustained damage. All the owners awaited the arrival of the local police to investigate.

Also in Stampace, a young man traveling on a scooter fell because the front wheel got stuck in a road cut: opened for an intervention, it had been closed with earth. Which was washed away by heavy rains.
