Emilia Boi Albai turns 101: party in Elini

Elini celebrates the 101st birthday of Emilia Boi Albai, a longtime cook at the town's schools. A resident of Casa Pirarba, the Arzana shelter, for many years, Emilia Boi Albai served as a cook at Elini's schools with professionalism and commitment, always standing out for her attention and care for the most vulnerable children. After her marriage, Emilia lived in Tortolì, but over time she maintained a deep and enduring bond with her home community and with the many generations of students she supported throughout their childhood.

Despite the passage of time and distance, Elini hasn't forgotten one of its most enduring and iconic figures. In just a few years, this marks the second centenary of the small town in Ogliastra. Emilia Boi Albai received warmest greetings from all the residents, the municipal administration (this morning she was visited by the mayor and deputy mayor, Vitale Pili and Romina Pili), and the many former students, now adults, who cherish and cherish her fond memories.
