Driving his car he was involved in an accident in Sinnai, on provincial road 15, where injuries were also recorded.
On the spot, after the alarm, the Quartu Sant'Elena carabinieri intervened and subjected him to a breathalyser and drug test. Result: it was positive for both of them.
It is a man of almost 70 years, who has now been reported by the military to the Public Prosecutor of Cagliari, for driving under the influence of alcoholic beverages and under the influence of drugs.
The driver, among other things already known to the police, was found a BAC of 1.58 grams per liter (triple the limit). And, as mentioned, he also tested positive for cannabinoids.
In addition to the complaint, his driving license was withdrawn, while the car was placed under criminal seizure.
