The desire to party at all costs. There is no comforting news from the sky, but optimism reigns over the Easter weekend in Sardinia thanks to restaurants, hotels and agritourisms that have filled up with bookings and are preparing for the mass arrival of tourists despite the risk that a few drops of rain could ruin the holidays.
The desire for spring seems unstoppable, however, considering that March and April have so far been stingy with beautiful days and temperatures worthy of the summer. And that's why Sardinians and arriving tourists are ready to brave the bad weather tomorrow just to enjoy a day out of their homes.
The insiders, on the other hand, do not seem particularly worried. The reservation diaries have been full for some time and, in the worst case scenario, lunches and activities will be moved indoors.
"Of course, it would be a shame if bad weather were to seriously damage us," admits Simone Ciferni, regional president of the agritourism businesses that belong to Terranostra. "But we are ready to welcome thousands of customers who continue to appreciate a quality, "zero-mile" food and wine offering."
