After days of cold and bad weather, Easter brought calm to Sardinia : clear skies, light winds, and decidedly milder temperatures made it easy to take trips out of town.

Temperatures across much of the island exceeded 20 degrees, touching or even exceeding 25 degrees in some inland areas . So Sardinians and tourists flocked to the countryside, to farmhouses, parks, and beaches; the more daring even went for a swim.
