Burst of arrests in Cagliari and its province for crimes related to drug dealing.
A 31-year-old man ended up in handcuffs in Dolianova : in October last year he was found in possession of 23 kg of marijuana during an inspection by the police. Now the final sentence of 2 and a half years in prison has been triggered and therefore the doors of the Uta prison have opened for him.
A 37-year-old from Cagliari also ended up in a cell in Uta, arrested by the Pirri carabinieri after a sentence of three years and eight months for "possession of narcotic substances for drug dealing".
On the other hand, a 30-year-old from Mandas will have to serve in the Cagliari penitentiary for 4 years, accused not only of drug dealing, but also of robbery and receiving stolen goods and dealing.
