New developments in Operation "Termine," which dismantled two criminal groups specializing in drug trafficking in Sardinia last October.
Since the early hours of today, the Carabinieri of the Cagliari Provincial Command and the Carbonia Company, acting on orders from the Cagliari District Anti-Mafia Directorate, have been executing eight warrants issued against individuals seriously suspected of drug-related crimes.
The eight are believed to have collaborated with members of the criminal gangs dismantled in October.
The operation is taking place in the provinces of Cagliari, Nuoro, Sassari, and Pisa and involves over 50 Carabinieri officers from the relevant territorial units, with the support of the 11th Helicopter Unit of Cagliari.
