He had a package containing 5.5 kilos of hashish shipped to him. But the shipment was intercepted by the Guardia di Finanza in Rome. The officers continued the shipment, continuing monitoring, and arrested the recipient. According to the Guardia di Finanza, he is in custody and is "a well-known figure active in Cagliari's nightlife."

The package was discovered in a distribution center in the capital: an inspection confirmed the presence of drugs. The Roman judicial authorities then ordered the postponement of the seizure and authorized a "controlled delivery" operation to identify the actual recipients.

The operation was carried out by soldiers from the Cagliari Provincial Command, who stationed themselves near the delivery point, located in an automated locker inside a shopping center.

When the recipient showed up to collect the hash, he was confronted by finance police, who arrested him and took him to prison in Uta. The hashish, if released on the market, would have fetched over 50,000 euros.
