A 20-year-old from Cagliari was arrested on charges of possession of narcotics for the purpose of dealing.

The young man was caught by the Carabinieri near a club on the Quartu coast, while he was suspiciously handing over "something" to another boy.

The officers then conducted a search, assisted by some plainclothes officers. They found doses of hashish and cocaine on the young man, along with cash.

More hashish and cash, totaling €900, were found in his home, believed to be the proceeds of illegal trafficking, along with packaging material.

The young man was then placed under house arrest, pending the validation hearing.
