Two donkeys out for a walk, a few goats among the cheering crowd and above all him, the star Rodolfo, the camel who became famous last year .

The Ovodda carnival took place yesterday in a peaceful atmosphere , with increased public order and the presence of numerous police officers and carabinieri to supervise the event.

After the controversy that marked the previous edition —when the use of sheepskins as trophies sparked heated discussion and criticism—this year everything went smoothly. Law enforcement ensured security and control along the town's streets, allowing residents and visitors to enjoy the festival without tension.

Animals were present, as is tradition and the fun-loving spirit of the event. The two donkeys attracted the attention of the little ones, while several goats, led on leashes amidst masks and confetti, sparked smiles and photo opportunities. But the one who once again captured the attention was Rodolfo, the camel who has become a minor local celebrity since his appearance at the last edition.

With its improvised floats, imaginative costumes, and a desire to have fun, the carnival drew numerous people, united by the desire to dress up and share a moment of lightheartedness . This edition, marked by normality and celebration, put last year's tensions behind it and brought back to the town a day of color, humor, and tradition.
