Serious road accident in Desulo around noon today. It happened in Iscubas, on provincial road 7, at the crossroads for Tascusì.

For reasons yet to be ascertained, a 68-year-old man of German nationality lost control of his motorcycle, crashing into the guardrail.

The centaur sustained major injuries, making it necessary to call in an air ambulance , which transported him to the Brotzu hospital in Cagliari, as well as a team of firefighters from the Sorgono detachment and a 118 ambulance.

A Carabinieri patrol was also present for the reliefs.

Just yesterday another German motorcyclist had died on the Sardinian roads in Tertenia , and only five days ago the victim had been a woman of the same nationality, in Escalaplano .
