The emergency ended in Desulo, the mountain town of Nuorese without electricity since yesterday morning due to the wave of bad weather that is hitting Sardinia.
In the early afternoon, Enel reactivated the electricity after Terna's teams repaired the fault.
Sigh of relief for the citizens and for the mayor Giovanni Melis: "The electricity is back, finally the town comes out of the emergency, we are in the municipality where the Coc is meeting and we are verifying that all the houses in the town have been reached by electricity ", explains.
At the moment, he continues, "we know that some houses in the countryside are still without electricity, but we are trying to solve this problem too". Then thanks to Enel, Civil Protection, Prefecture, "for having been close to us until the problem was resolved".
This morning in Tonara, however, the firefighters intervened by helicopter to recover a forest worker who was stuck in a shelter due to snow. The man is fine and has returned home.
