The heat is hellish in the Zekreet desert. The appointment for the morning of May 30th is southwest of Doha, the golden capital, in the true sense of the word, of what, only officially, is the state of Qatar. In reality what governs this enclave of the Persian Gulf is a real hereditary monarchy, that of the Al Thani, those of Mater Olbia, of Qatar Airways and of the “bankrupt” Air Italy, those of the hotels of the Costa Smeralda . In the good salons, the sumptuous ones of the emirs, in that peninsula all oil and gas, there is a line to sit down. From Italy, for years, the run-up for an invitation to court is such that very often there is the risk that ministers, ambassadors, managing directors and high officials of the Bel Paese get stuck in the entrance door of the Palazzo del Principe in the historic heart of Doha. Here the immensity of the yellow-red sand does not have the sinuosity of the hinterland, rather it is an infinite plain, without a horizon, heated beyond belief by the rays of the same sun that rises at Decimomannu. The Qatar Air Force pilots gave an appointment for 9 am on the desert runways of the Al Udeid military air base.
Secret mission
The mission is secret. Not around the corner. To cross on the wings of two imposing giants of the skies there are deserts and seas, the beauty of 4,226 km to fly over at an altitude that goes well over ten thousand meters. The air force base in southwestern Doha is not simply an airport dedicated to the Qatar Air Force . In this "piece of war" in the midst of camels and deserts there is much more. Starting from the headquarters of the United States Advanced Central Command with the United States Air Force, there are numerous states that make a war base in that compound lying on the desert.
Yenkee in the desert
Since the Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Hamad, expressed a desire to see no less than 10,000 US troops permanently stationed in Al Udeid there, the Americans have not let themselves be begged. On the runway are two giants of the air, the McDonnell Douglas / Boeing C-17 Globemaster III, the largest military transport aircraft developed for the United States Air Force. Only they and no one else are aware of the destination. There is no civilian radar capable of intercepting them and decoding their mission. The take-off of the first, code LHOB241, is for 10.02 on May 30, 2022. Twenty-one minutes later it is the turn of the second military cargo, flight code LHOB250. The first will fly over Cagliari six hours after take-off. The second wheel. The landing at the Decimomannu air base is in sequence : the first at 15.15, the second at 15.34. One thing is certain, it is impossible to think of a pleasure trip. If only for the load capacity of the two giants: 77,519 kg for each. On board, however, there can also be 102 paratroopers or 134 troopers with palletized and side seats, or an M1 tank, two Bradley armored vehicles or three Stryker vehicles.
Touch and run
Difficult, very difficult that they arrived here, in Sardinia, to unload men and tanks, despite the endless agreements between the Italian state, the sellers of weapons and death, and the emirs of Qatar. The only certainty is that those two planes made a real hit and run in Sardinia . Not a technical stop, but a real secret mission. Those two giants, 53 meters long, 51 meters wide and more than 16 meters high, almost a 6-storey building, in fact, left even 24 hours later and returned directly from where they started, in the Doha desert.
24 hours of darkness
A data emerges from the reserved flight records, it took them 40 minutes less than the first leg. The first left at 16.31 and arrived at 23.00, (Arab Standard Time), in practice, according to the internal report, 5 hours and 32 minutes of flight. The second took off from Decimomannu at 4.46 pm and touched the runway in Doha at 11.6 pm, 5 hours and 29 minutes later. Those forty minutes of difference can be linked to several factors: they arrived loaded and returned empty, they changed course, or the weather conditions were more favorable. One fact is irrefutable, between 30 and 31 May at the Decimomannu airport a mission was carried out that was to remain secret, encrypted and probably functional to a game that sees Qatar as external support of the Western American system. Mission, not to be excluded, to move American weapons secretly sent to the West . However, there is one thing to analyze: the large arms trafficking that is pouring out of Italy in favor of the emirs of Qatar. An ever more flourishing, abundant market, an unprecedented river of war, with the Italian arms industries that are relentlessly replenishing their budgets with Qatar's petrodollars.
Emirs & business
From collateral emirs to the financing of the worst enemy terrorists of the West, as they have always been considered, to strategic and military partners, the step was short, just a bunch of billionaire transfers in favor of the war industries of the Bel Paese. It seems difficult, but it cannot be excluded that Sardinia, in particular the inviolable air base of Decimomannu, may have been chosen as a loading platform for an avalanche of private and state weapons towards Qatar , just as a 'all Sardinian operation, with the involvement of a state air base for the transshipment of weapons produced and marketed on the island. According to the well-informed, in the skies between Doha and Decimomannu, an undercover operation that would concern an Italian-Sardinian-German-Qatari triangulation could be consummated to the end.
War budgets
In fact, it does not escape the fact that in the financial statements of one of the German multinationals stationed in Sardinia there is a modern "triangulation" between countries to facilitate the export of arms. In the government report for 2018, an authorization for 230,854,523 euros appears to Rwm Italia for the export of a large batch of artillery ammunition : tens of thousands of cartridges, shots, fuzes, modular charges, initiators. The recipient country - according to the reports of the Observatory on small arms and the Italian Disarmament Network - is unknown but, after a year, in the document drawn up by the Treasury, a banking transaction with Qatar attributable to Rwm Italia is discovered: a " contractual advance of the value of € 57,713,630, exactly one quarter of the value of the previous authorization. In 2019, the Report reports another operation issued to Rwm Italia (value 83,615,927 euros for an unspecified number of active strikes) classified as "intermediation" which - according to what the government explains - would concern "foreign-to-foreign" operations. All contracts under observation after the heads of the Unit of the Foreign Ministry delegated to control the arms market ended up under investigation.
Sardinia bridgehead
The risk is that Italy, and in this case Sardinia, are becoming a bridgehead to arm the Arab world even more .
