The Financial Police of Sassari has seized over 182 thousand items including masks, costumes and carnival games that do not comply with safety regulations.

The Fiamme Gialle controlled 45 commercial establishments in 20 cities in northern Sardinia, finding violations in 30% of cases.

High administrative and criminal complaints to 14 merchants who have sold products that are potentially unsafe for the consumer, as they are counterfeit and lack the necessary certifications.

The Finance operation follows two similar control activities carried out close to Halloween and the Christmas holidays, when 74 commercial establishments were inspected, a total of over 33,000 toys seized and 31 violations contested.
