A cyclone from the Canary Islands brings bad weather to Sardinia.
Rain is forecast and the regional Civil Protection has issued a yellow weather alert, valid at least until midday on Friday 7th. The criticality warning is yellow and concerns in particular the areas of Iglesiente, Campidano and Flumendosa Flumineddu.
The Municipality of Cagliari is also involved, with the city Civil Protection having, as always in these cases, made known the rules of conduct that concern the inhabitants of the Municipality of Pirri , in order to avoid possible situations of danger for public safety.
According to the notice, it is advisable to avoid parking in via Balilla (from Piazza Italia to via Dandolo) and side streets, Italia, Dolianova, Sinnai, Settimo, Mara, Donori, Santorre Di Santarosa, Confalonieri and Ampere. Cars parked in the aforementioned streets can be moved to the parking lot of the Terramaini swimming pool in via Pisano.
"With the aim of further protecting public safety and security - the Civil Protection reminds - in the presence of stormy phenomena, citizens are also invited to pay maximum attention and to activate self-protection measures, namely: do not go down to the basement or semi-basement floors; do not leave the house; move away from flooded streets by reaching higher places".
