Accidents (directly) on the median axis or on the 131 Dir are not enough: what made traffic impossible during rush hour this morning was an accident involving a truck near the most important hospital in Sardinia.
The heavy vehicle, engaged in a transport operation – it is still unclear for what reasons – has been stuck in the middle of the road since shortly after 8:00 am, on the carriageway heading towards Mulinu Becciu.
With the massive influx of traffic at that time, the impact on traffic was severe: it was impossible to exit Pirri via Via Stamira, with the blockage also creating a long queue on the median before the roundabout.
The situation returned to normal after more than half an hour.
