Buddusò is getting ready for "Beranu in Buddusò - Artes in Carrera", a two-day event dedicated to the identity of a country rich in handicrafts, typical products, history and archeology. Buddusò regains possession of a festival that has enlivened the autumn period in recent years, rethinking it in spring to April, as a boost for the local economy but also as a start for all the events scheduled from May and throughout the summer.

«"Beranu in Buddusò" is in the middle of the operational phase - explains the mayor Massimo Satta -. I wanted 2023 to be the 1st edition, which starts from our territory, involves many operators from all over the island with the intention of animating the town, showcasing our typical products, involving visitors in a laboratory of taste and offer important convivial moments between taste, music and folklore».

The historic center of Buddusò will come alive with stands, the owned houses will open up to the visitor, hobbyists and craftsmen will get to work and local producers will be the protagonists of a true laboratory of taste, in which they will be offered what a few moments before will be prepared live. This year the municipality wanted to encourage producers, who will be able to show the quality of the products by offering the public regulated prices for all the stands: from potato mussels to meat, from typical Sardinian sweets to the oldest versions of the long-lasting elixir cuisine life.

«We cannot anticipate more for the moment, but Buddusò is preparing for an event of great tourist attraction - underlines the president of the Proloco Cinzia Pisanu -. Showcase of taste but not only: there will be author music, live shows, folklore with animation by groups from different parts of the island and last but certainly not in order of importance, meetings dedicated to archeology».

For this event, a small train will be available with guides who will accompany guests on a tour of the town, among the beauties and places of interest: from the wood and granite museums, up to the domus inside the town, exploring places identity and sacred as the church of San Quirico, one of the oldest churches in Sardinia. And again: prominent guests in the historical-cultural sector, exceptional guests who will enliven the evenings, friends from the town of Buddusò and great experts: there will be no shortage of surprises, convivial moments and folklore.
