Covid, another 1,123 infections in Sardinia. No casualties in 24 hours

In Sardinia, the daily cases of Covid-19 return to over a thousand, but no new victims are recorded.

With over five thousand swabs performed, the positivity rate stands at 21.9% .

Here is the bulletin released by the Region on Wednesday 17 August 2022:

"In Sardinia there are now 1123 further confirmed cases of COVID positivity (of which 1053 diagnosed as antigenic). A total of 5112 swabs were processed, including molecular and antigenic.

The patients admitted to the intensive care units are 11 (+1) .

The patients admitted to the medical area are 132 (-5) .

17493 are the cases of home isolation (-504).

There are no deaths ”.
