"In Sardinia there are today 1409 further confirmed cases of Covid-19 positivity (of which 1236 diagnosed as antigenic)".

This was announced by the Region, in the update on the epidemic on Friday 13 May 2022 .

Yesterday there were 1,272 new cases.

With 6,271 buffers processed in total, between molecular and antigenic, the positivity rate rises from 18% to 22%.

As for the situation in hospitals, there are 11 patients admitted to intensive care units (same data as yesterday), while patients admitted to the medical area are 256 (+5).

Cases of home isolation are currently 23,925 (+ 256).

Finally the victims: in the last 24 hours there have been 4 deaths (yesterday 7). They are two women aged 83 and 84 and two men aged 66 and 81, residing in the province of Oristano.
