The officials of the Cagliari Customs Office in service in the Territorial Operations Section in Elmas, together with the soldiers of the Guardia di Finanza, 1st Metropolitan Operational Nucleus of Cagliari, II Operational Section, seized sports shoes, women's handbags and scarves .

All counterfeit with the fake logos of Nike and Hugo Boss, Prada, Louis Vuitton, Christian Dior and Chanel.

Clothing, accessories and shoes were contained in the hold luggage of two sanctioned travellers , from Colombia and Turkey.

Nike and Hugo Boss shoes were so similar to the originals that they could be sold in authorized stores. Even the copies of women's handbags and scarves were very faithful, so much so that the counterfeit was only recognizable to an expert eye.

Considering normal market prices, the value of the seized products, if their authenticity had been recognised, would have been around 15,000 euros, 13,000 of which for handbags alone.
