Coronavirus infections are growing, restrictions are triggered in San Giovanni Suergiu
The provisions contained in the document signed by the mayor Elvira Usai go into effect from January 26th
Extraordinary measures in San Giovanni Suergiu to stem the spread of the coronavirus. With a special ordinance, the mayor Elvira Usai has set some restrictions in consideration of a "worsening of the epidemiological situation with the growing spread of Covid-19 especially in the school age group such as to cause a large number of positive and / or negative pupils quarantine, the suspension of face-to-face teaching activities for entire classes and in any case with the partial presence of pupils in almost all classes of all levels with serious discomfort for pupils, families and teachers ".
For this reason, starting from tomorrow 26 January and until 24 on 1 February, all didactic activities in presence in the classes of the municipal schools of all levels are suspended as a precaution; stop also to all forms of playful and recreational activities, public and private events and parties both outdoors and inside school buildings, sports facilities, gyms and playrooms, public and private.
The mayor then orders “the suspension of all forms of non-competitive sporting activities both outdoors and inside sports facilities, gyms which are generally equipped for sport; the ban on gathering near public areas (parks, squares, public spaces, etc.) in order to contain infections and the spread of the Covid-19 virus; the obligation, for the whole day, to use masks as protection of the respiratory tract (nose and mouth) even outdoors, in the spaces pertaining to places and premises open to the public as well as in public spaces, where due to nature, suitability and physical characteristics of said places, it is easier for gatherings to form even of a spontaneous and / or occasional nature, such as: public transport stops, school entrances, entrances to medical clinics, spaces in front of commercial establishments, or public offices or offices of public interest ".
“The use of masks - it is specified - is added to the other protection measures aimed at reducing contagion (such as social distancing and careful and constant hand hygiene) which remain unchanged and priority. Children under the age of six and people with disabilities and pathologies incompatible with the continuous use of the mask are excluded from this obligation ".
The activities of the catering services (bars, pubs, restaurants, ice cream parlors, pastry shops and administrations in general) are allowed from 5am to 6pm. On the other hand, catering with home delivery is always allowed.
