Further disruption to territorial continuity. This morning , two Aeroitalia flights from Cagliari to Rome Fiumicino were canceled .

This is what appears on the website of Sogaer, the management company of the Mario Mameli Cagliari-Elmas airport.

The cancelled flights are the 6am and 10.20am flights .

The route was affected by problems with the pressurization system, which forced the train to return to Fiumicino twice in one day, bound for Cagliari.

Transport Councillor Barbara Manca has asked ENAC to investigate the matter : "Passenger safety is our priority, but I would like to reassure everyone that safety checks in Europe are the most rigorous in the world."
