The Olbia Coast Guard today filed the report on the collision that occurred on the night of August 10 between the passenger ship Moby Sharden, which departed from Isola Bianca and headed for Livorno, and the fishing boat Alemax II, two miles off the coast of Golfo Aranci , near the islet of Capo Figari.
The prosecutor of the Tempio Pausania prosecutor Gregorio Capasso and his colleague Mauro Lavra have already entered three people in the register of suspects: the captains of the Sharden and of the fishing boat and one of the officers who was on the bridge of the Moby at the time of the accident.
In the meantime, there is still no trace of the 41-year-old Senegalese seafarer who was missing after the crash: according to what was leaked, at the time of the ramming he was inside the cabin and could have been dragged to the bottom with the boat. On the other hand, the 28-year-old commander Mario Langiu was unharmed.
