Collision between car and off-road vehicle, one dead and two seriously injured on Statale 389 Var
Head-on accident in the Villanova Strisaili area: a pensioner from Villagrande dies, two young people from Orgosolo transported to San Francesco
An 86-year-old pensioner from Villagrande , Salvatore Barrili, died this afternoon in a road accident that took place around 4.30 pm on the Nuoro-Lanusei state road near Villanova, at kilometer 50.400.
The man was driving a Ford Fusion which, for reasons yet to be ascertained, collided with a Toyota off-road vehicle.
The impact was fatal to Barrili. On the other hand, two young people from Orgosolo who were on board the pick-up were seriously injured: both were transported to the San Francesco di Nuoro hospital.
The state road was closed to traffic. Police and firefighters attended the scene.
