Enas faces accusations from the press regarding the timeliness of interventions regarding the water emergency in the Coghinas valley, which began more than two weeks ago. The organization responded to the alleged disservices on the irrigation networks with a statement, clarifying that the interventions were immediate. A landslide on the plant was also denied.

Last March 25, a fault was reported in the Casteldoria dam which slowed down the flow of water and did not allow the correct supply of the aqueduct. A system just sufficient to guarantee the arrival of drinking water in the lower Coghinas valley, Castelsardo and Tergu.

To solve the problem, Enas claims to have immediately set up an emergency system, activated on 5 April, making resources, technicians and electric pumps available to collect the necessary water. However, due to some leaks in the structure, it was not sufficient. Complicated operation, also considering the maintenance services already underway in Coghinas, but solvable given the installation of new pumps yesterday.

The body finally returned to the issue of Monte Lerno, a dam in the Pattada area, stating that "the capacity of the reservoir was reduced by the General Directorate of the Ministry of Infrastructure, after, during a flood, structural deficiencies in the Opera". The problem has been taken over by Enas and the correction work will start by the end of this year
