He was accused of molesting a student : before the judge, he chose to plead guilty to a sentence of one year and eight months . This is what happened to a fifty-year-old sports coach from Sulcis who was accused of forcing one of his 15-year-old athletes to sit on his lap, telling her he had dreamed of kissing her and making explicit sexual references.

The events reportedly occurred two years ago , and the newspaper chose not to publish the name of the accused, the location where the events occurred, or the sporting discipline, in order to protect the victim's identity as much as possible.

Meanwhile, the coach has apparently also been suspended by his own sports federation.

The girl was represented by lawyer Stefania Mereu, while the 15-year-old's mother was represented by lawyer Francesco Pilloni. The defendant, on the other hand, was represented by lawyer Giovanni Raimondo Serra.

After the investigation was completed, prosecutor Gilberto Ganassi requested the coach be sent to trial, but before the preliminary hearing began, the defense reached an agreement with the prosecutor's office regarding the sentence. Hence, the plea bargain for sexual harassment, which was upheld by the judge.
