Twenty-one people were reported by the Carabinieri for the clashes that occurred on January 26 during the Eccellenza match between Monastir and Tempio .
There are 13 Monastir fans and 8 Tempio fans, all aged between 17 and 52 .
The two groups, explains a statement from the Carabinieri, had arranged to meet for a “confrontation” in an area far from the sports field, perhaps to avoid being identified by the police. A dangerous meeting, given that there had already been problems during the first leg, which immediately turned into brawls and hand-to-hand clashes between the two sets of fans in which three Monastir fans were slightly injured .
The intervention of the Carabinieri prevented the situation from degenerating and the fans dispersed. The men of the Arma then began investigations to identify the violent ones and the complaints were filed. The investigation is still ongoing, to ascertain the responsibilities of each individual and identify any other subjects involved.
The names will be sent to the Police Headquarters so that they can evaluate the Daspo .
