The Tempio Prosecutor's Office has closed the investigation into the death of Samuel Imbuzan, the ten-year-old boy hit by a flame while he was resting inside a camper parked on the beach of Bados. The events occurred on August 31, 2023 on the coast of Golfo Aranci. The responsibility for the death of the child, according to the Tempio Prosecutor's Office, lies with his father, Daniel Imbuzan, a 54-year-old entrepreneur from Rimini (of Romanian origins).
The accusation of the prosecutor Noemi Mancini is based on the investigations of the Carabinieri of the Olbia territorial department.
The camper in which the child was located was hit by the flame coming from a stove connected to two LPG cylinders. Daniel Imbuzan was in Sardinia for a holiday and on the morning of August 31 the two-burner camping stove was turned on to cook lunch.
According to the prosecutor Noemi Mancini, Daniel Imbuzan used the device that caused the flame. Imbuzan, defended by the lawyer Antonello Desini, has always maintained that he was not the owner of the stove and the gas cylinders, which, according to the man, were used by other people.
