"The real estate sector in Sardinia , and in the Cagliari area, holds, confirming what our Federation has been affirming for some time: the 'brick' as a true and certain refuge of savings for families". This was stated by Angelo Bianchi, regional president of the Italian Federation of Professional Real Estate Agents , regarding the performance of the residential construction market in Sardinia.

But there is an alarm: "From now to the end of the year - he explains -, a contraction in sales is to be expected, due to the large number of companies, mostly already in crisis in the pre-Covid period, which will be forced to raise White flag. Even the new modality of 'agile work' - continues Bianchi - has had a negative impact on the commercial activities that gravitate around those who carry out physical work: we are talking about the many bars, trattorias and restaurants that survived also thanks to the guaranteed income during work breaks and lunch".

Fiaip has made some proposals "asking for the deductibility of the IMU also for individuals and homes and decisively supporting the structural reintroduction of the flat rate tax also for non-residential leases". Another request from FIAIP is to facilitate the green transition by proposing corrections to the Superbonus 110%, "extending the measure until at least 2025, extending it to the entire real estate portfolio, simplifying and streamlining the access procedures and implementing, at the same time, a national strategy that gives life to a new model of sustainable city ".

“A reflection is also necessary on the retail sector, which hosting the main activities that have suffered the negative effects of the lockdown and the related consequences in the subsequent phases, could suffer the most significant decline”, says Bianchi.

"We expect that at the municipal level a serious boost will be given to the digitization of urban planning practices, without which, not only access to the Superbonus becomes cumbersome and problematic, but the same daily activity of regularization of urban differences present in most transactions real estate becomes a real problem. However, I personally and all the Regional Fiaip, we hope that soon even the municipalities are equipped in this sense ".
