Car overturns and catches fire on the 131 in Villagreca: driver seriously injured

A serious accident occurred overnight on the 131 near Villagreca . According to initial reports, after midnight, a car overturned for reasons yet to be determined and ended up off the road. The vehicle caught fire following the impact.
Emergency services arrived immediately. Ambulances, firefighters, and traffic police arrived on the scene. Paramedics were able to rescue the driver, the only person in the car. After receiving initial treatment on the scene, he was taken to the hospital with a critical condition .
Firefighters extinguished the flames and secured the vehicle and the road. Traffic police conducted investigations to reconstruct the accident. The stretch of highway 131 remained closed to traffic for the duration of the operation.
