Capoterra, chain collision on SS195: minibus stuck between two trucks, two children seriously injured

Bad accident this morning in Capoterra , around 11.30 ,   on the SS195 at the Frutti d'Oro roundabout .

A minibus carrying tourists , including two children , crashed into a truck and was in turn hit by a second heavy vehicle .

The two children, injured in red code , were transported to the hospital, the helicopter rescue in flight . Three other injured, in stable conditions , were rescued by the ambulances that arrived on the scene .

Police and firefighters were also at the scene of the crash.

Traffic at a standstill on the road with long queues forming at the roundabout in front of Sa Cardiga and Su Schironi.
