Cala Domestica, dolphin carcass washed ashore by the current

The carcass of a large dolphin was washed ashore by the current this afternoon in Cala Domestica, on the Buggerru coast.

The dead mammal - the causes are unknown - was noticed by swimmers.

Attempts to bring him back out to sea were useless, even with the help of a pedal boat: wind and waves pushed him back towards the rocks.
