Following ongoing work, technical inspections will be carried out in the coming days to ensure the safety of patients and staff at Cagliari's Binaghi Hospital. Healthcare and diagnostic services will be suspended until July 21st, exclusively on the ground floor of the main building.

The suspension affects the Breast Screening Center, Traditional Radiology, Sports Medicine, and Pathological Anatomy . The Cagliari Local Health Authority (ASL) announced this in a statement, specifying that "the suspension will not affect the entire hospital, which will continue to operate regularly in other areas. During the suspension period, patient access will be guaranteed from the basement level, via the blood collection center entrance, and the ticket office will be temporarily moved to the third floor, in the medical management offices."

"All patients with scheduled appointments at the affected facilities," the ASL continues, "will be contacted promptly and directed to other city hospitals, in order to maintain continuity of care and priority access . Management apologizes for any inconvenience and thanks you for your cooperation and understanding."
