Cagliari: Two injured in a fishing boat on fire near Sa Perdixedda.

L’imbarcazione, per cause ancora in fase di accertamento, è stata gravemente danneggiata dall’incendio, che ha sprigionato una densa colonna di fumo nero, visibile da diversi quartieri della città.
Sul posto numerose squadre dei vigili del fuoco per domare il rogo e mettere in sicurezza la zona, evitando che le fiamme raggiungessero altre barche ormeggiate.

The two men who were on board the fishing boat engulfed in fire this afternoon while it was docked at the Sant'Efisio pier , in Sa Perdixedda, in the port of Cagliari, suffered minor burns and slight poisoning.
The two were carrying out maintenance work when the fire broke out.
The specialist teams of the fire brigade's diving unit, the nautical unit and the land team intervened on site
of the port detachment and the Harbour Master's Office.
The fire was quickly put out, preventing the vessel from sinking and preventing the flames from spreading to nearby vessels.
The two injured were taken to hospital with yellow code.
