Social question and answer between the mayor of Cagliari , Paolo Truzzu , and the institute representative of the Pacinotti scientific high school , where the mayor was a guest in the morning for the Europe Day.

"Not all of Pacinotti was happy to have you here today," reads an Instagram story of the student. « Don't we want right-wing exponents in our lecture halls , if we don't have to talk about politics at school because that precludes the projects of a "brother of Italy"? We don't want right-wing exponents who have to applaud boys and girls who don't have the possibility of a critical sense, precisely because of this government that tends towards indoctrination ». But the girl's attack becomes even tougher in the following lines: in the crosshairs an answer that the mayor would have given to the student, to the question " why don't you clean up the swastikas , the fascist bundles, the homophobic, racist, fascist writings that dirty the walls of our city?

Truzzu, according to what is reported in the story, would have said "there are not only swastikas in the walls". Unwelcome words from the author of the message, who wrote: « Paolone's answer confirmed that the institutional "powers", the municipality of Cagliari, are actually very convenient . To a mayor who loves war, law enforcement and decorum», concludes the girl, «I answer by sitting on the ground where I want, and saying what I think. Regardless of who wants to silence me ».

The mayor reposted the story, replying to the young woman: «You were right to express your opinion», wrote Truzzu, «and I am grateful to you, because Paolone does not like censorship but comparison , respect for the institutions and the school free from any ideology". Then he made a suggestion to her: « It would have been precious if I had said it in front of all the students , since I made myself available to answer. And I tell you: it's not a political question, it's called democracy ».
