Five hundred thousand euros. This is the amount allocated by the Region in favor of the activities in via Dettori, in Cagliari , affected by the closure of the road since 8 January . But when the refreshments will actually reach the traders, it still remains unknown . Concern grows as the weeks go by: «In the Ras resolution we read», says Francesco Alba, owner of BuffHouse, «that the contribution will be granted by notice or announcement, in a form and manner similar to the Covid support, which the luckiest have received two and a half years later .'

In short, the fear is that the resources will arrive too late, by which time the economic situation of the premises would be compromised: " It will be like giving oxygen to a dead person ". If possible then, the regret has increased with the arrival of spring: «Next week will be Easter», continues Alba, «and it will mark the beginning of the tourist season. Realistically we know that at least for us it will be impossible to participate : a serious injustice, even for a business like mine, which has always stood out as an example of valorisation of our Made in Sardinia and beyond».

As for the evolution of the situation in via Dettori, excavations are awaited to begin in the areas concerned to examine the subsoil , after an initial report by Abbanoa which did not reveal any significant damage to the pipelines. Inside the properties involved, however, the appraisals and investigations have already been carried out, while many residents continue their period of forced detachment from their homes.
